Rivka Chetrit

Service Description

Rivka graduated with a Masters in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University. Additionally, she has training in couples and family therapy from the Family Institute Post Graduate Program. Rivka has years of experience working with at-risk adolescents and people from underprivileged backgrounds. She has training in working with people struggling with women's issues, depression, anxiety, abuse, neglect, and childhood traumas. She strongly believes that everyone has the power to heal themselves and therefore uses client-focused therapy with her clients. Additionally, Rivka uses Family Systems and Internal Family Systems theory to guide individuals in their journey toward healing. She believes through empathy, transparency, compassion, and belief in an individual's growth, they can flourish and heal from even the toughest wounds. Her goal is to foster healing and self-awareness by creating a safe space with unconditional positive regard. Rivka enjoys connecting with family, spending time with friends, nature walks, and reading.
